According to recent data from industry consulting firms, in 2024, combined takeup in Madrid and Barcelona exceeded 800,000 square meters, the highest figure since 2019. So far in 2025, the momentum continues: Madrid registered 288,360 square meters taken up in the first half of the year, 10% more than in the same period last year, while Barcelona continues to consolidate the 22@ district as a growth driver.
