Còlonia de Sant Jordi
Colònia de Sant Jordi is a coastal town belonging to the municipality of Ses Salines, located in the south of Mallorca and historically closely linked to the sea. Once a Roman port and a traditional fishermen’s refuge, it has evolved into one of the island’s most valued summer destinations, combining history, nature, and quality of life.
Its privileged location provides access to some of Mallorca’s most iconic beaches, such as Es Trenc, Es Caragol, Ses Roquetes, and Ses Covetes, as well as proximity to nearby towns like Ses Salines, Es Llombards, and El Palmer. The area stands out for its protected natural surroundings and for hosting the Talayotic settlement of Els Antigors, one of the most important archaeological sites in the south of the island.
From its harbor, excursions depart to the Cabrera Archipelago Maritime-Terrestrial National Park, one of the Balearic Islands’ most significant environmental assets. Colònia de Sant Jordi offers a peaceful lifestyle closely connected to the sea and nature, with a residential and service offering suited to both residents and visitors seeking authenticity, coastal proximity, and a well-preserved environment. For a more vibrant social scene, Cala d’Or is located nearby.
