Torrelodones

Torrelodones it is a town in the Northwest of the Community of Madrid, located 29 km from the capital, located between the Sierra de Guadarrama and the metropolitan area. With 24,000 inhabitants with a high socioeconomic level, similar to Las Rozas and Majadahonda, widely spread over the 22 km2 area in many urbanizations and independent homes, distributed on both sides of the A-6 and bordering the area of Los Peñascales (the area higher level) to the south with Las Matas.

It has a train station and intercity buses that connect it with other towns in the area and with Madrid.

Around the Casino Gran Madrid, a commercial and leisure area has been set up that integrates two shopping centers, Verdecora and Espacio de Torrelodones.

The municipality has 8 schools, with a health center and a private hospital (Hospital de Madrid), a municipal sports center and many green spaces.
