Terramelar

Terramelar is a neighborhood that belongs to the municipality of Paterna, consisting of 29 buildings and 15 blocks of single-family homes. Before being urbanized, the land was used for almond tree cultivation, which is the origin of the name, derived from the Valencian terra d'ametlers (land of almond trees). It borders to the north with the Lloma Llarga neighborhood, to the south with the Valencia Exhibition Center, to the east with the municipality of Burjasot, and to the west with the military barracks of Paterna. As of 2023, the population is 2,525 inhabitants, of which 1,209 are men and 1,316 are women.
