Albuixech
It is a municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. It belongs to the Huerta Norte region, in the province of Valencia and located 11 km from Valencia. It is a municipality in the coastal area of the garden of Valencia.
Being a coastal area, the municipal term is divided into two parts, the main nucleus, in which the town and its old town are located, and the coastal area. Its presence causes the number of inhabitants to multiply during the summer season. Being a coastal town, it is tourism that takes the reins of the municipal economy. And next to it, therefore, the services sector. The industrial sector also enjoys great importance, although it should be noted that, despite the presence of the important Mediterranean Industrial Estate, it is one of the municipalities with the lowest population index dedicated to this sector. Agriculture has historically been important, but in recent years it has lost a lot of weight. It has a heritage of great beauty within which the church stands out. Other places of tourist interest are the Fuente de San Ramón Nonato and the hermitage of Cristo de la Misericordia.
