Pedreguer
Pedreguer is a small municipality located in the Valencian Community, in the province of Alicante, near the Mediterranean coast. With a population of around 8,700 inhabitants, it forms part of the Marina Alta region.
The municipality stretches along the foothills of the Valencian pre-betic system and opens out towards the valley of the River Girona. Its landscape is characterised by a rugged southern area, with outstanding hills and mountains such as the Hoyas hill, the Montaña Grande, the Peña del Perro Flaco and the Castillo de la Solana, also known as the Castillo de Aixa. The territory is crossed by several ravines, including those of La Alberca, Marx and Las Fuentes.
