Cabo de las Huertas
El Cabo de las Huertas belongs to the municipality of Alicante and is notable for its biodiversity. In this area near the urban center, endangered birds, reptiles, and vegetation adapted to the terrain can be found. Its name comes from the former beach that extended to El Campello; although the beach was renamed —San Juan Beach in Alicante and Muchavista Beach in El Campello— the cape kept its original name.
The neighborhood borders San Juan Beach to the northeast, the Mediterranean Sea to the east and south, and the Albufereta and San Juan Beach neighborhoods to the west and north, combining urban proximity with protected natural spaces and offering a landscape of high environmental and scenic value.
