Baix Maestrat
Bajo Maestrazgo (in Valencian, and officially Baix Maestrat) is a coastal region located in the north of the province of Castellón, in the Valencian Community, divided into 18 towns. The capital of the region is Vinaroz. The region limits to the northwest with the province of Teruel, to the northeast with the province of Tarragona, to the east with the Mediterranean Sea and to the south with the region of Plana Alta and to the west with the regions of Alto Maestrazgo and Los Puertos. This region has Sierra de Irta, the largest undeveloped coastal area in the Valencian Community, recently declared a natural park.
