Aldaia
Aldaia is a municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is located in the western part of the metropolitan area of Valencia, in the province of Valencia. The municipality belongs to the region of the Huerta Oeste and is located in the contact zone between the Huerta de Valencia and the Plana de Cuart, to the foothills of the Sierra Perenchiza. The municipality of Aldaya has approved a plan called Aldaya Accesible. In 12 years a comprehensive study has been conducted, have attended training courses technicians of the City Council, has been enhanced and supported the associations of people with disabilities and have established lines of work in the Councils of Citizen Participation to cooperate in the Plan for Accessible Aldaya. As in most towns in the Valencian Community, in Aldaya the musical tradition is deeply rooted, finding reliable data in old archives, which prove that already in 1880 there were two music bands in the town, La Lira, also called La Vella, and La Nova.
