Port d’Alcúdia - Platja d'Alcúdia
Following the beach of Alcúdia, Port d'Alcúdia is the natural, fishing, sports and leisure port of the exquisite town that was the capital of Mallorca during the Roman occupation. Tourist and cultural area par excellence in the extreme northeast of the Sierra de Tramontana, it is the second largest commercial port in Mallorca and most popular for its ferry connection with Menorca. The area also stands out for its myriad sports on offer, with the 18-hole Golf Alcanada as the standard-bearer, one of the most demanding in Mallorca due to its course and popular throughout the world for the image of the lighthouse from most of its green fairways.
